Sunday the 25th, Day 156: I's a Happy Girl. Just so ya know. Yesterday, we went to the Vet, which happens to be at the Petsmart we usually go to for Class Day. Dad said we're all DONE with the 'class day' now. He says I'm all 'grad-u-mat-tated'. So we went anyway, after the Vet appointment. I saw doggies in the ring, and suddenly, I was all, "oh no!! They've started without me!! I didn't drag Dad over there though. I was very poilite. I went over, and the instructor said, "Oh look! it's Bertha!!" and I wagged my stumpy-tail. She told everyone there, that I had JUST graduated, and that I had learned SO much... that when I came in, I was too a-scaired to play, and I was too timid to do commands very well, and I was just basically A-FEARED. She was right! But I learned... and she told all of them how their dogs too, could do that! I wagged my stumpy-tail some more. Then I saw the gate was open a bit, so I invited myself to class. I just pushed it open and went to take my place. Everybody laughed. Dang it. It almost worked. After we got the week's dog-stuff, we went twords home. We didn't go RIGHT home though!! We went to a place called "The Park". I saw all kinds of things there! Like signs that said, "no dogs on the playfields" And signs that said "no dogs in the playground" And signs that said, "no dogs allowed on any Seattle beaches ever, anywhere, anytime." And a "please scoop after your dog" sign. Where did they think I would GO?? hrmf. Well, we had a nice walk anyway, and I found GRASS... I rolled in it, and I chomped at it, and I LOLLED in it... The best part of the grass? It was Goose-Poop flavored!!! YAY!!!! For some reason, Dad and Pa thought I should have my teeth brushed, when I got home. Huh. Big Bertha |
