Day 442:

As you may or may not know, Dad and I like to Listen to Radio Disney on the way to driving Pa to and from work. At the same time Pa gets to work, they switch over to 'kids' music, and I like this very much... Sometimes we make up our own words. I am especially good at this, you know.

In honor of that, I would like to share a song with you:

I would also like to express my extreme discomfort with Dad's recent discussions with Pa.

They're regarding something he repeatedly calls a "fun run" or "5k walk". They keep using the word "Exercise"... this worries me.

5k is a long ways. I'm pretty sure 5k is more walking than I care to do.

(I would most certainly need trees along the way. I hope this 'fun' walk comes with trees...)

Dad keeps asking Pa if he thinks he could walk 5k without dropping dead. How come he isn't asking if *I* can walk 5k without dropping dead?

I know it is for a good cause... but still. The idea of anything being "fun" is a little dubious, if you have to "Train" for it... this makes me wonder- would this actually be WORTH it? How much money can one fat guy and an even fatter dawg raise, anyhow? They said something about 800 other people and dogs. They better have a LOT of trees.

I will keep you updated, but I am not holding my breath, untill I see Dad sign the paperwork... It will cost him 20 bucks to sign up, and then he will have to find all kinds of people to sponsor him- to give him MONEY to walk with me for 5 whole K's!!

(what's a K, anyway? Dad has not explained that... perhaps he will, at some point... otherwise, I will be walking untill he says 'okay. we're done'... at which point I think I shall have to bite him on the rump, and go find a tree.)
