Day 615: Dad hasn't been very well this week. He been all yucky-tummy... and the last Class we had, he stayed only HALF of it... cause he forgot to add medicine back to my 'emergency bottle' I carry in my packs, and so I didn't have medicines for him to take... it was sucky for me, cause I LOVE class! Less sucky for him because he was kind of depressed about missing class, cause he ended up missing the NEXT one cause he was too sick, and Pa was sick too- like maybe the flu kind of sick, only just his tummy. I can relate. When dogs get an icky tummy, we eat grass... I kept TRYING to get Dad and Pa to go for a walk. 'Eat Grass!' I was trying to say, 'Breathe the fresh air! Barf the grass back up! You'll feel BETTER!' but they didn't listen. They never listen. *sigh* Oh well. Dad swears class is back on this week, even though his tummy is still yucky, and he doesn't LOOK like he feels much better. Pa seems good to go, so maybe it's that kind of thing. Dad's yuckies aren't like the flu- they're cause his insides are all messed up. Deaddog told me once, Dad used to have his insides on his OUTside... he used to have a bag on his OUTside instead of the thing he calls a J-pouch on the INside now... and that's some of the problem. I have NO idea what that means. Deaddog was smart. I'm kind of 'tupid, but I'm sweet and I'm a GIRL and I think that makes up for it all. What did a boy dog know about giving kisses when someone felt bad? Dad says LOTS of good things about Deaddog, but he says I give SWEET kisses when he feels bad. (and I do! I know no one wants a slobbery DOG kiss when they feel icky- so I make sure I give little soft SWEET licks, to clean his eyes a little, or on his forehead or cheek... no licky-mouth DAWG kisses here! I a LADY dawg... and I know how to mommy Dad when he feels his ickiest. A few kisses and a BIG snuggle does wonders, you know. Tonight was not my best night, though... I messed in my kennel. I NEVER do that, unless MY tummy feels icky TOO! ...Dad says he suspects something we ate, that he gave me the leftovers from... I get some people food too, when it's healthy and good for me. (I LOVE broccoli! or OOH! Carrots! *drool* I LOVE raw carrots...) But sometimes, if the food is icky, then I get icky too- and since Dad and Pa got sick, and then *I* got sick... well... I think he's right. I was very sweet, and I covered my mess up with a blankie, and then I laid my other blankie over that, and I slept in the OTHER end of the kennel. I was sowwy about the smell. I got stinkypoo when my tummy is upset too. Sowwy Dad. Good thing that I have anti-bad-tummy medicine too. Little pink chewables and little green minty ones too! I don't mind taking them, even if they taste bad... they work better than grass. ...I wonder if that's why Dad uses them too? Huh. Big Bertha |
