Things I love about this time of year:

1) Birdies who come to the patio door/windows to feed on birdseed... (I like to lay by the cats and watch 'cat TV' as Pa calls it... while the birds feed, and then sometimes, the cats JUMP, and the birds FLY AWAY! ha ha ha!)

2) Candy Canes. (*DROOL* They're like my FAVORITE treat (a starlight peppermint) only BIGGER... the lady at the bank gave me a HUGE one Thursday, and I LOVED it. I went *crunch crunch crunch* for like... three whole minutes. YUM!)

3) FOOD! Why DOES Pa cook so MUCH in the winter? I dunno!! But I LOVE him for it!! YUMMY! Too bad dogs can't have chocolate... but thankfully, Pa makes lots of things without it too.

4) Gingerbread and Spice Cake. (yeah, those are food, but... YUMMY! YumYumYUMMY...)

5) Fresh, warm, right-out-of-the-dryer blankies!! YAY!!!

6) The semi-annual 'lets wash ALL the dog toys in the washer' day! YAY!! I get back all those 'confiscated' plushies that got taken away cause they were gross-dirty, or had a little seam loose or something, all fresh and clean and WARSHED! (cause washing is very civilized with something you play with in your Mouf!!)

7) MOVIES!! Yay yay yay! ALL kinds of good movies come out in the winter, and we go a LOT more when there's movies to SEE! (duh!) I saw Narnia last- and lots of people were dressed up like the wierd peoples in the movie- and when the theatre was taking pictures of them, they asked ME to pose with them!! YAY!! I was supposed to be one of the talking dogs- um. 'cept I can't talk. yeah. The guy with furry legs didn't have real hooves either, so... it's all good.

8) Pa staying home LOTS! YAY again!! I love my time at home with Pa... and he gets all kinds of wierd holidays off work- and works unusual times too, but that's OK, we get to go pick him up then!! yay some more!!

9) The sparkly lights! I love to watch them sparkle. twinkle twinkle... wait, that makes me remember something...

A thing I do NOT like about Winter:

SNOW and ICE!!

My feetsies get SO cold!! hey hey hey hey hey... I got to pee you know, when the ice is the COLDEST in the morning! Hrmf.

Yesterday, I touched my backside to some ice, and I JUMPED, and shivered. (hee hee) I didn't think it was funny THEN though... hrmf. YOU people have indoor plumbing!

Ah the season... who IS this Santa guy, and how can we get him to give me those tiny candy canes ALL year long?
